The Dons season, by all measures, was a success as the team came within a game of the State Finals while tying or setting 18 college records. All of that goes along with three Dons on the First-Team and another on the Second-Team All-Orange Empire Conference teams.
Following their sweep of Allan Hancock College in the Regionals, the Dons will play Santiago Canyon College in next weekend's Super Regionals at Palomar College.

Heather Robertson delivered the final blow with her walk off three-run home run to end the game in the fifth inning.
The Dons had been averaging 9.5 runs per game but were shut out by the visiting Hornets 2-0.
After giving up a pair of runs in the top of the sixth, the Dons rallied for three runs in the bottom of the third to hand Riverside City College its first loss in conference.
