Bio
Daniel Choi, PT, DPT, OCS, SCS, FAAOMPT is a residency and fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopedic and sports physical therapist.
Daniel earned his Bachelor of Arts in Allied Health (2018) and Doctorate of Physical Therapy (2021) from Azusa Pacific University. He further honed his clinical skills through the Kaiser Permanente Orthopedic Residency (2022-23) and Sports Fellowship (2023-24) in Orange County, where he worked alongside expert physical therapists, orthopedic surgeons and sports medicine doctors, treating athletes of all ages.
His experience spans multiple soccer teams, including Lions United FC, United City FC, and Zeta FC, and volunteering at sporting events like Lei-Out Ultimate Frisbee 2024 and the WFDF World Masters Ultimate Championships 2024. He also served as an adjunct professor for the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at his alma mater and has guest lectured for graduate students at Yonsei University, one of Korea’s top institutions for physical therapy.
Daniel is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, California Physical Therapy Association, and American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. He is committed to helping patients live without limitations through personalized rehab and injury prevention education.
Currently, Daniel owns his own practice, DC Physical Therapy, located in Placentia, CA.
