SANTA ANA, Calif. – Lexi Ross had an outstanding freshman season and was rewarded with a spot on the 2018-19 Women's Basketball All-Orange Empire Conference second team.
Ross is the only representative from Santa Ana after the Dons finished seventh (2-12) in OEC play. She led the Dons in scoring, shooting 36.5 percent from the field for 12.6 points per game.
The guard out of Kennedy High was also one of the best rebounding guards in the conference, averaging 5.7 rebounds per game.
Her most memorable game of the season came on the road against Riverside where she went off for 30 points in 32 minutes of action. She went 14-21 from the field without even having a three point attempt.
Ross is set to return for her sophomore season and hopes to lead the Dons a playoff appearance.
