Four Dons Land All-OEC Honors
The Santa Ana Women's Soccer team takes four spots on the 2017 Orange Empire All-Conference team.
SANTA ANA, Calif. – On Tuesday, November 14th the Orange Empire Conference released it's 2017 Women's Soccer All-Conference Teams.
The Santa Ana College Women landed four spots on the teams with Kassandra Herrera and Breana Martinez making the first team, while Linda Frias and Adriana Mejia claimed their place on the second team.
For Herrera, this is the second time she's been recognized by the conference after being named the OEC second team last year. Dons goal keeper Breanna Martinez had an impressive season with 104 total saves to lead the conference in her freshman year.
Sophomore forward Linda Frias made the second team after scoring seven goals and assisting on three during the 2017 season. And Adriana Mejia put her name on the map with her first appearance OEC All-Conference team as a freshmen defender.
Santa Ana finished seventh in the conference with a record of 7-12-2 overall and 4-10-2 in OEC play.
