Dons Fall to Santiago Canyon in Five Innings
The Dons lost their second game of the season to Santiago Canyon College, this time by a score of 9-0.

SANTA ANA - The Dons lost to Santiago Canyon College 9-0 in five innings in an Orange Empire Conference game. The loss drops the Dons to 7-15 overall and 2-7 in conference while Santiago Canyon improves to 20-4 and 7-3.
The Hawks scored the majority of their runs in bunches with four runs in the first and third innings. The ninth run came around to score in the fourth inning.
Desiree Hernandez (5-10) took the loss for the Dons as she allowed seven runs on eight hits in 2.1 innings. Lauren Hammond (7-1) got the win for SCC as she shutout the Dons on five hits over five innings.
