SANTA ANA, Calif. - In their non-conference match against the Palomar College Comets (1-1-2) on Friday afternoon, the Santa Ana Men's Soccer team continued their trend of high scoring affairs.
The two teams scored three goals apiece, resulting in the first tie for the Dons (1-2-1) and the second for the Comets.
Sophomore midfielder Marck Rayo collected two more goals for the Dons to give him five on the season, which ties him for fourth most in the state.
Fellow sophomore midfielder Isaac Pineda put away his first goal of the year off a penalty kick to round out the scoring for SAC.
The Dons will be back at home on Tuesday to face the Long Beach City Vikings (3-1-1). The Vikings have won two straight after defeating Mira Costa 3-0 on Friday.
