SANTA ANA, Calif. - Despite outshooting the Santiago Canyon Hawks (2-4-5, 1-1-2) 13-8 in Friday's Orange Empire Conference match, the Santa Ana College Men's Soccer team posted a 0-0 draw.
The Dons (1-7-3, 0-3-1) won the time of possession and had a few good chances on goal but were unable to finish for their first OEC win of the season.
Freshman goalkeeper Carlos Valentin had his first clean sheet of the year and recorded four saves in the process.
SAC also picked up four yellow cards with Alessandro Torres and Edwin Tirador getting their fifth which will force them to sit out the next match.
