Banuelos Completes Hat Trick, Dons Earn First Win
Damian Banuelos scored three goals in the second half to help the Dons cruise to their first win of the season.

SANTA ANA, Calif. - Freshman forward Damian Banuelos found the back of the net three times in the last 20 minutes of Santa Ana's 5-1 win over San Diego Mesa College to secure a hat trick.
The Dons (1-4-1) cruised, outshooting the Olympians (1-4-1) 14-8 to earn their first win of the season in non-conference action.
Alessandro Torres and Kevin Munoz gave SAC the initial lead in the first half as they scored in the 28th and 35th minute of the game. San Diego Mesa fought back with their own goal in extra time right before the whistle blew.
But in the second half, the Dons were in full control as the Banuelos led attack pushed them to the much needed win.
Santa Ana will be back at home on Friday to host LA City College at 4:00 p.m.
