SANTA ANA, Calif. - SAC Men's Soccer rallied in the second half of their Orange Empire Conference (OEC) match against the Saddleback Bobcats (3-7-2, 2-3-1) to earn a 3-3 draw.
Although the Dons (1-7-5, 0-3-3) fell behind 3-1 in the 65th minute, they continued to play hard, which led to a few scoring opportunities.
Aiden Cisneros checked into the game for the first time in the 71st minute. The sophomore out of Katella High struck a bouncing ball in the box with his left foot, sending it into the right lower corner of the goal to cut the SAC deficit to just one in the 77th minute.
The Dons stayed on the attack, pressing the Bobcat goal until Randy Castillo found Kevin Munoz on a cross to tie the score in the 81st minute.
Despite being unable to pick up their first win of the season, Santa Ana will settle for a tie as they enter the second half of OEC play.
They'll be back at home on Tuesday to host Cypress at 3:00 p.m.
